New Kitchen Counters

We got new Granite Countertops !!

On Sept 15th, we had new granite countertops put in. This is something I have been

needing for a very long time. We had quite and interesting path to get here,

but the day finely came. Below is before picture.

After! The faucet has not been put in yet but the counters look great!

We had the downstairs bathroom done also.

This is my new under the counter sink. It is composite of granite.

Jessica's 17th Birthday

Happy 17th Birthday Jessica

On September 18th, jessica turned 17 year old. She had a great day. After she came home from school. I took Ruben and Jessica to the Guitar Center to pick out a Bass Guitar.

She found a beautiful black bass. She also got an amp. We went to In and Out burger for dinner.

For her Birthday desert she choose an Ice Cream Cake. She had a great day.

On August 30, Jeff turned 13. Rebecca took him out for lunch an nondo's.

Diamondbacks Game

On Friday August 29, We took the family and the boys to the Diamondbacks Game.

We were playing L.A. Dodgers. It was a good game the Diamondbacks won 9 - 3.

It was Rebecca's first Baseball game. It was fun to go as a family.

The girls thought it was fun to take their boys with them too.

Big Storms in Gilbert

On Thursday August 28, We had a Big storm in the phoenix area. There was a lot of lighting

and almost 2 inches of rain. The lighting was so crazy. I have never seen it like this before.

They said there were almost 8000 lighting strikes in an hour.

Jessica has started Pointe class.

As you all know jessica loves ballet.

She takes 3 ballet classes and now a pointe class too.

She is so good at it. We know Gramie will be proud of her too.

Tucson Arizona trip July 2008

Tucson Vacation 2008

In July 24, 2008 we decided to take a family

Vacation to Tucson, Arizona. It only a couple of

hours from our house. With the gas prices so high we

decided to stay close to home this year.

Rebecca had been working and finely we found a weekend we could

go on a trip together. We stayed in the Hilton el conquistadore.

The last time we went, the girls were one and two we stayed there.

It was fun to go back. We went shopping at the mall in

Tucson. Which is one of the things the girls really wanted to do.

The next day we went to the biosphere.

We stayed at the Hilton. A thunderstorm had just rolled

through before we arrived. It was humid but beautiful.

We went to visit the Biosphere II while we were in Tucson.

It is some place we have always wanted to visit.

It was interesting and HOT. The air was not working

very well the day we were there and it was hot inside

the building.

It was not a big as I thought it would be.

Each of the team had their own room. It had a loft for sleeping.

Organ Stop Pizza

On monday night we took jon to organ stop pizza. It is a really fun place. There is a guy that plays the organ. You can request songs and he plays them. The kids had a fun time.
