Mesa Temple Lights

On November 23rd, We went to the Mesa Temple grounds to listen to the chior sing and to view the Christmas lights at the temple. It was covered with lights. There was a manger scene and 3 wise men. We went with Teresa and Steve and all the kids. Also Teresa's Family were there. It was a great time. We all went out to cici'c Pizza for dinner before the lights. There were about 42 of us. Family is so great.

On ThanksgivingMorning, Rebecca and Terri went to mesa and did a 1 Mile Fun walk. It was fun to get out in the morning and walk. We had a really good time.

Blue Sky Orchestra Festival

On Saturday November 17th, Rebecca and the Highland High school Symphonic Strings, Went to Flagstaff for a Festival. There were many schools from the state of Arizona competing. We performed at 2:00pm. At 4:00pm they posted the top 6 schools that would compete in the finals. Each school then had 12 minutes to perform and be judged. They picked the top 3 schools. Highland won the Grand prize. They won the festival and took home the trophy, It was so great to spend the day with all the students. What a great day for Highland.

Dancing for News Channel 3

Rebecca and Desert star dancers, performed a Hip Hop dance for the Early show for the opening of the new San Tan mall.
Rebecca and Jessica also got their picture with Brad Perry of news channel 3. We had to arrive at 5:45am. they danced at 6:45am. They were at school by 7:00am. It was a very busy day.

On October 27th 2007. Rebecca went to the Homecoming dance at Highland High School. She went with Peter and 2 other couples. Her mom made her dress. She looked very beautiful.

Jessica turns 16

On September 18th, Jessica Had her 16th birthday. It was a nice day for her. She had to go to school. We took her out to dinner and then had cake and ice cream.
The Big day came on saturday when we sent jessica on her first date with her dad. When she came home we gave her a big surprise party. We had an Hawaiian theme. Food, Friends and Fun.

On December 17 to the 21st, Rebecca and Terri will be going to Chicago With the Highland High School Symphony. The Symphony will be performing for the Midwest clinic, The Internations Band and Orchestra Clinic. It is a very big honor to be picked to perform at the clinic. While we are there we get to see a show and do some site seeing. It will be a very memerable experience.
